Event's DetailsThe Heartland Ayllu is a local family of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition (PMT), a cross-cultural shamanic lineage with Peruvian roots. The aim of our Work is to serve Pachamama (Mother Earth) and all Earth-honoring traditions. Link Up is our time as a community to come together in ceremony, music, and love.
You do not need to have previously participated in a Heartland Ayllu or PMT gathering in order to attend. All paths and faiths, as well as children of all ages, are welcome! However, please be honoring of the collective experience, so do tend to children's needs in order to maintain the sanctity of times during meditation and prayer.
THIS MONTH: Daniel and Autumn Moler will facilitate a 2018 Intention Ritual. The Spring Equinox is a good time to plant one's seeds for what they would like to create. Please be prepared to set your intentions for what your wish to call forth as well as what you would like to release, both individually in your life and for the community. Please bring offerings for Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the other spirits such as tobacco, cornmeal, flowers, sacred waters, etc.
We will meet in the Hollis Renewal Center Lodge (end of road last and largest building on the right). Flowers are always welcome to contribute for the offerings. Be prepared to spend some time outside, despite the weather, and also be prepared to make yourself comfortable in the Lodge (the floor is concrete and cold in the winter). You may bring chairs, backjacks, pillows, etc. Anyone who would like to contribute flowers, markers, paper, or other items for the offerings, we would appreciate the help! Also, don't forget your sacred sound makers!
DONATIONS: Love Offerings are accepted and appreciated in order to reciprocate the cost and usage of the space at Hollis!
ATTIRE: Dress how you like, but appropriate for being outside. Traditional ceremonial colors for Spring Equinox are WHITE ON TOP; BLACK ON BOTTOM.
